Can I make soap with children?
This soap base, together with our luxury melt-and-pour soap making kit is a great place to start and learn the art of soapmaking. Great for beginners & experts alike and can also be done together with kids. Be aware to supervise closely when making soaps with kids, the melted soap can be hot.
Where do I buy your soap base.
What is the melting temperature of melt and pour soap?
The Melt and pour soap base begins to melt around 120-125 ° F.
Can I re-melt the melt and pour soap base?
Yes, re-melting is possible. You could for example combine and re-melt your leftovers from different batches.
Is your soap base Vegan?
Yes, our Soap Base is organic, natural and vegan. The Soap Base has not been tested on animals, and they are non-GMO. They also don’t contain Soy.

What is Melt & Pour?
Working with Melt & Pour soap base is the easiest way of making your homemade soaps. You don’t have to worry about dealing with lye, and you can be inventive with your soap design. We’ve already dealt with the saponification process for you, so it’s a more streamlined process for your soap making. It’s the perfect choice for anyone making soaps at home as a hobby or as gifts for friends and family.
What is the saponification process?
Saponification is a chemical reaction that happens when fats and/or oils (fatty acids) come into contact with lye. In this reaction the fatty acids are converted to the soap base. This what most refer to as Cold process soap making.
Our Soap Base has already gone through the ‘saponification’ process, making it a safer alternative to cold process soap making.
Can I add my own ingredients, like flowers, etc?
