We’ve already dealt with the saponification process for you, so it’s a more streamlined process for your soap making. It’s the perfect choice for anyone making soaps at home as a hobby or as gifts for friends and family.
Saponification is a chemical reaction that happens when fats and/or oils (fatty acids) come into contact with lye. In this reaction the fatty acids are converted to the soap base. This what most refer to as Cold process soap making.Â
